Few patterns in Scandinavian design history are as iconic as Berså, the famous stem of green leaves designed by Stig Lindberg (1916-1982). As one of the most influential post-war designers in Sweden Stig worked with ceramic, glass, tableware, and textile prints during his long and successful career with Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory.
Berså was produced from 1960-1974 and quickly became one of Lindberg's most beloved patterns that could be found in every other Swedish home in the 60s and 70s. Lately the pattern has had a huge revival in Scandinavia and is now available in Australia on trays, tea towels, potholders and cushions.
