Serving tray handcrafted in Sweden on the island of Öland using birchwood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and featuring the iconic Scandinavian pattern Berså by Stig Lindberg.

Few patterns in Scandinavian design history are as iconic as Berså, the famous stem of green leaves designed by Stig Lindberg (1916-1982). As one of the most influential post-war designers in Sweden Stig worked with ceramic, glass, tableware, and textile prints during his long and successful career with Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory.

Berså was produced from 1960-1974 and quickly became one of Lindberg's most beloved patterns that could be found in every other Swedish home the 60s and 70s. Lately, the pattern has had a huge revival in Scandinavia and is now available in Australia on trays, tea towels, potholders and cushions.

The most gorgeous tray

I purchased the large round bersa green tray and I love it. Every visitor I have comments on how lovely it is. It is light but sturdy and fits a couple of plates and drink and is perfect to use with teenagers who are snacking in front of the TV or computer. I plan on buying more for myself and for gifts. This is something you can't generally find in Australian retail stores and I am thrilled that I have a little bit of Sweden at home in Australia.
