TheTrayShop’s first tray collection features Scandinavian-designed textiles embedded into wooden trays.
The stunning textile used in the Öland tray is designed by Betty Svensson for the Swedish textile brand Kinnamark.
Once we select a Scandinavian design for a tray, the textile is cut to shape at our workshop in Sweden’s north, near the Arctic Circle. We then press thin layers of wood together before embedding the textiles into each tray at a workshop in the south.
It's a little piece of Scandinavia for your home, handmade using natural materials, making each individual tray unique.
All textiles used in our trays are free from harmful chemicals (Oeko-Tex or REACH certified), the wood comes from responsibly-cultivated forests (FSC- or PEFC certified suppliers) and all trays comply with EU Food Contact Regulations.
